We try to eradicate poverty, empowering women & prosper society by providing financial assistance to the poor. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works harder each day to contribute underprivileged society to the greater good.

TURNING INTEREST INTO ACTION
Who We Are...
Since our founding in 2017, we have been determined to make an impact. We emerged first in 2017 as a not for profit entity, constituted under West Bengal Trust Registration Act 1961 (TRUST DEED NUMBER IV-080500009/2017) with our Niti Ayog Unique ID by GOI as (WB/2019/0235971) in district Coochbehar of West Bengal. Our credit delivery method follows Association for Social Advancement (ASA) model, Bangladesh.
The purpose for setting up the organization was to initiate a significant change in the life of the poor’s specially, women, who are socially disadvantaged and economically exploited. And for this we operate micro financial and other related welfare services like free Health & Eye check up, different Awareness Camps for the poor and downtrodden women in the District of Coochbehar, West Bengal, India.
In the last half of 2018, we begun to work with our new wing which will motivate our group members to earn effectively and independently primarily with the range of manufacturing soft toys and ladies purses.
Till now from the date of inception we covered more than 30 villages with more than 1200 members who were benefited from us with the formation of Self Help Group (SHG).
We provide three types of Loan for our SHG namely, Income generating loan, Emergency Loan & Education Loan
Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

SHAHNAZ BEGAM
I am a house wife. I got married at the age of 18. I have three children. It was hard to maintain for my husband to fulfill all needs. So, I was trying to help in some ways to survive well but those was not working at all. In that time I heared about BCS, from my neighbor I collect their phone number and contact them. I told that concern person about my situation and then he suggest me to join BCS group.
Whenever I joined BCS, the organization help me to think what would I do for survive what job would suitable for me, they suggest me to open a Poultry Farm. Then I was take a loan from BCS and open a poultry farm since 2019. Now a days my monthly income of Rupees 15,000 to 20,000. Which is more enough for me and my family. All thanks goes to BCS..
I got married at the age of 20. I have 2 children. Me and my husband began our entrepreneurial journey before our children were born. To help my husband and my family I planned to open a small grocery shop infront of my house.
That’s why I joined Bandhu Chalarsathi. They gave me a loan sum of Rupees 15,000. Nowadays my shop running well. BCS help me to inverse the depth and width of stock. And helped me to get bulk discount from dealers.
I thankful to BCS to help me and my family.
MALA DAS
Not all Indians buy clothes online or as readymade apparel. Most still depend on the neighborhood tailor.
I learnt to stitch as a student. After getting married and bearing one children. I decided to become a pro and enrolled at a government outfit for a tailoring certificate. But the instructor left just before I completed the course. So, I have to start a fresh at a private outfit to get the certificate. Today I employs three women who help me with the stitching.
To began the training shop, I need a loan at that time. So, I joined Bandhu Chalarsathi, to take a loan of Rs. 15,000. To buy a couple of USHA and SINGER sewing machine and some bolts of clothes from Cooch behar. Nowadays my monthly income of Rs. 15,000 depending on the season.
I am thankful to BCS for their services and make my dream comes true.
MALLIKA DAS
I am a housewife. Resident of Ruidanga, Nayarhat, cooch behar, Ghoksadanga area. I dropped out of my school after class IV, and was married at the age of 19. Me and my husband have two children.
That time how to increase my family income I planned for buy a cow and that’s why I need some money and at that time I joined Bandhu Chalarsathi and take a loan of Rs. 10,000 and nowadays Rs. 25,000. This organization helped me a lot to survive my struggle periods. A big thanks to BCS. Now I am an independent women. Supporting my family with income upto Rs. 200 per day.
I am thankful to BCS for their survices. I feel over welmed to be a part of their customer groups, says BCS.

When I was 20 years old I got married. I have one son and one daughter. My husband is involved in agriculture, and he is the only one who earns income, but It was difficult for him to run all the expenses on his own income.
So, I’ve decided that I would help my husband to support the family. At that time..I came to know about “BANDHU CHALAR SATHI” from my relative and I took their number, and I contacted with them. After contacting they told me for communicating with my nearest self-help group under “BANDHU CHALAR SATHI”. I joined to the group on the advice of this organization and I took 10000 rupees loan from this organization, and I decided that I would open a nursary by this loan. Some days after this decision of mine continues to get the colour of success. Thanks to “BANDHU CHALAR SATHI” for helping me in my difficult time and to make my difficult time easier!.

I have been working at “Bandhu Chalarsathi” (BCS), since March 2021. It is a pleasure to me to work in BCS. I joined as an Assistance Branch manager. BCS is commited to developing sustainable financial growth for economically backward people and women empowerment. I have learned a lot in BCS. The vision of the organization is to help the weaker section of society prosper and become financially stable. We give loans to women who want to set up and run a business. I am really happy to be a part of the BCS family.
During my early phase after marriage, I had no clue what and how to do. In the meanwhile I came from a source regarding Bandhu Chalar Sathi. First, of all I am not sure about the job and also confused regarding the entity of the job. But at the same time I desperately needed this job and thanks to BCS for recruiting me as a Finance Manager in the main branch. But as days go on I proudly feel about the organization and mention special thanks to the BCS team for making me a part of the family who always tries his best to initiate significant changes in the life of the poor’s women, who are socially disadvantaged and economically exploited. Finally, I want to conclude that this has been a great journey so far and I wish I could retire from BCS.
I have been working as an Area Manager in “Bandhu Chalarsathi” (BCS). I have been associated with BCS since 2020 and I have learned a lot. BCS recognizes and rewards talented employees by creating career advancement routes within the organization. Not only I have grown as a professional but also as an individual. I consider myself fortunate to be working with an MD who is a talented, inspiring and enthusiastic leader committed to excellence. So, I thankful to BCS for giving me this opportunity to learn everyday. Looking forward to continuing many more years in BCS with many more challenges.
I began my career with “Bandhu Chalarsathi” (BCS) in 2018 as Branch Manager. This organization is like a family and has taught me a lot about how to work together and help others to do their work. The top management team in BCS is highly experienced and skilled and gives us the leeway to work independently. This organization encourages innovative thinking and gives us many opportunities to excel. I have learned a lot in BCS. I feel immensely happy when I see the happy faces of my family members and all this has been possible because of my association with Bandhu Chalarsathi.
My story with “Bandhu Chalarsathi” (BCS), is all about learning, achievements and growth. I have been working at BCS since 2018 as a Field Officer. I like the atmosphere of helpfulness and cooperation in the office and am very happy working at BCS. Here I get the opportunity to work collectively with my colleagues and my work is enjoyable. We give loans to women who want to set up and run a business. BCS has helped me to prosper in life and has instilled a sense of self-belief in me.
